Interviewers asked her during the interview segment on H3 Podcast how she was raised in Manila's slums by her maternal grandmother up until the time she reached the age of 3. Kenneth Taylor was an American and Eden Taylor his wife adopted her. She explained that for the next 10 years she spent much of her time on the family farm as well as doing chores.
